All of our employees are Pediatric and Infant CPR/First Aid certified and are fully licensed with enhanced criminal background checks through Health & Welfare on file and are a member of Idaho Stars. Each of our substitute teachers earns continuing education hours through the Idaho Stars program as needed for renewal to ensure the highest quality of service.

About the Owner
Hi, I'm Jen, Owner of In A Pinch Subs, LLC
My journey with In a Pinch Subs started long before I became the owner. Over 15 years ago, I worked as a substitute for the company — stepping into classrooms, adapting quickly, and supporting teachers and childcare centers when they needed it most. I know what it feels like to be on that side.
In 2014, I opened my own childcare center, where I’ve spent over a decade leading a team and caring for many children and families. Through both center leadership and large-scale event childcare, I understand how important dependable staffing is — whether it’s a busy weekday in a classroom or a special event where parents need trusted, professional care.
Taking ownership of In a Pinch Subs in January 2026 feels like a full-circle moment. I lead with integrity, faith, and a deep responsibility to the families and programs we serve. When you trust us with your classroom or your special event, you can feel confident knowing your children are in capable, caring hands — and that we will show up with professionalism, preparation, and heart.
